Lt. Col. William J. Marvin, USMC Retired
About the Attorney
William “Bill” Marvin, a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, is a former attorney for the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), the predecessor to the current USCIS. Mr. Marvin also has served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and as a member of the California Commission on Criminal Justice.

A Regents Scholar at the State University of New York (SUNY Cortland), Mr. Marvin holds a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Mr. Marvin has represented and advised many large international corporations (such as Cubic and Skanska), the U.S. federal, state, and local governments, and individuals with immigration and criminal matters. Mr. Marvin is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of International Claims, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the courts of New York State, the U.S. District Court - Southern District of New York, and all federal immigration courts. He also retains an inactive membership in the Ohio state bar. Mr. Marvin created and represented the first modern-era USCIS EB-5 Regional Investor Center in the State of Nevada.
